Independent artist, singer, songwriter and content creator Sam Tsui has been hailed as an internet singing sensation, and was among the first musicians to establish a hugely popular music-focused channel on YouTube. As one of the first independent artists to harness YouTube and social media, Tsui has created and grown a combined social following of over 4 million loyal fans, who call themselves the #Samily. To date, his videos, including covers, medleys, and mashups, have amassed over 500 million views on YouTube alone. Turning digital success into ticket sales, Tsui has toured both domestically and internationally, opening for musical talent such as Bon Jovi, Ariana Grande, and DNCE -and in 2019 took his Gold Jacket Tour to ten cities across Asia. Tsui released his second album, TRUST in 2018 featuring lead singles: Cameo, Trust and A Million Pieces.
