Why Was Kwame Brown Picked FIRST In The 2001 NBA Draft?

- Welcome back everybody, this video is a continuation of series in which I cover the biggest NBA draft busts in history, with this video covering Kwame Brown going to the Washington Wizards in the 2001 NBA Draft. Brown is known as one of the biggest busts in league history simply because he was the first ever high school player to be selected number 1 overall, and he had a limited impact on the league. Coming into the NBA at just 19 years old and experiencing a difficult relationship with executive turned player Michael Jordan was a difficult way for Brown to come into the NBA... and that was largely why he had such a poor career despite having a ton of talent - even being compared to Kevin Garnett prior to the 2001 NBA draft.
