Thank you for remaking this video. I know you've said these old cars don't get the views of the new ones, but these are an archive for people of the world who are unlikely to ever see/hear them. Thank you for sharing your world!

I'm more interested in these old cars than the new ones. Any entertainer or CEO can buy a new supercar. It takes work and dedication to build something this impressive.

ChubbyMcHungry I like the way they look but my bank account says it will be a long time before I can buy a real one @ 60+k$$ so I guess I’d have to settle for a knockoff one instead especially the touring Phaeton models or a roadsters

This is the type of video I like best when Jay does them.A simple tale of man enjoying his machine, complete with history. He often has said that's it's the stories that each car comes with that he likes.Any real car guy gets that. I surely do.I just don't understand how anyone dislikes this video, honestly.

This man is really leaving a legacy for us all. Love Jay for this.

    That's when he's happiest.When he's talking.

All those vehicles with unconventional controls, pedal arrangements, quirks. I wonder how Jay keeps track of them all.

he is not alone there. He has a team of mechanics. Actually you can notice several of these men there in this video.

Going 120+ mph with brakes controlled by chains...back when men were men and the women ran scared.

@Baribrotzer if you want to break a gearbox.

  • Baribrotzer 28 days ago

If you need to stop, you'd be better served by downshifting and using the engine to brake.

That vintage footage of Jay was amazing. It's weird seeing him wear something other than a denim shirt.

Maxey The written word is different. You have to use one of these...😄....now go back and change it...😂

das 1988 I bet you're a lot of fun at parties. It was a joke.

wonder how many of those randoms on the freeway said ''hey Look, there's that Jay Leno guy''

  • Greg Appelgren 1 years ago

Peter House He's so easy to spot too with his silver mop hair flapping in the wind. It has to be fun to spot him. It appears he acknowledges people that wave at him with a wave and/or a honk.

My son used to work at an Italian restaurant on the PCH when he was in school at Pepperdine. Jay would come in occasionally to eat, always driving something different. He's really a nice guy, loves to talk about his cars.

That car looks so cool today, in 1915 it must've been absolutely insane.

My grandpa was in the Signal Corps in WW1 working with carrier pigeons. He caught the Pandemic and survived. When men did that they weren't placed back in the forward units. In WW1 and in WW1 they had a new contraption, an aeroplane. He worked as a mechanic and in those days the mechanics when they repaired the plane took it up themselves to test the work. They had so few pilots they trained the mechanics to fly. He stayed on after the war to fly. They stationed him in Hawaii in 1920 were he got an inc...
