On June 28th, a challenge of sorts was put up on Twitter: Say a genuinely nice thing about the Star Wars prequels. You wouldn’t think something as innocent as this could spiral out of control, but Rian Johnson, director of the Last Jedi, found a way.

In this editorial @AndreEinherhar will look into Johnson’s compliment that was so backhanded it actually trashes Lucas, and what might be his reason for tweeting such snide remarks at the expense of the creator of Star Wars in the first place.
