  • Predavanje Gorana Šarića, katoličkog teologa i istoričara, na temu: „Poreklo Albanaca” ( 2. 2. 2021 )

Etnogeneza, ili nastanak naroda, u ovom slučaju albanskog, katolički teolog i istoričar, Goran Šarić, objašava kroz njihov jezik, istorijske artefakte i mape nekadašnjih granica naroda.

Lecture by Goran Šarić, a Catholic theologian and historian, on the topic: "The Origin of Albanians" (February 2, 2021)

Ethnogenesis is the origin of the people, in this case the Albanian. Catholic theologian and historian, Goran Saric, explains it through their language, historical artifacts and maps of their the former borders.

There is no pure ethnicity today, because over time there was mixing and merging of people, which is visible in the Albanian language. The theory that Albanians are descendants of the Illyrians was first advocated by the Swedish theologian Johan Erik Tunmann in 1774. Arguments in favor of this thesis are that the Albanian language is spoken in areas where Illyrians and ancient inhabitants of the Balkans once lived, that Albanian society is based on a tribal social structure as well as Illyrian, that Illyrian places were shaped according to Albanian phonetic rules and many have meaning in the Albanian language.
