If it was the NBA, I wouldn't have an issue with players going straight from high school. But the NFL? Forget about it. The last thing you want to see is an 18 year old getting physically mauled by grown men.

Football is also a mental game as well. Sure he has the physical talent to make the NFL and perhaps even be a starter if he was in a place like Tampa, but I totally agree, he still has room to grow mentally and physically. Even most young players in the NBA struggle.

I agree ! Let the kid live a bit and put some weight on !

  • Can't they just let Trevor have fun and be a QB in college first!? Ffs

Why can’t he have fun and collect a check ?

  • Complete Controll 6 months ago

What he did at his age, has never been done. He was the highest rated QB prospect EVER at 17 years old by Pro Football Focus. Highest EVER at 18 years old. Then after his freshman season, without the playoffs, finished with the highest rated freshman season EVER. Kid hit 61.4 velocity IN GAME. At 18 years old. Need a comparison? Aaron Rodgers at 23 years old, no pads, non-contact environment, hit 61.6 pre draft. He is beyond anything we’ve seen, it’s ok to believe the hype, every bit of hype to him,...

Aaron Rodgers was 21 when he was drafted. Doesn’t take away from anything about Lawerence I just wanted to clear that up.

  • AlphaDwg 6 months ago

He’s talented but if you think he is ready to start in the nfl right now you are out of your damn mind.

Who here is a Blake Bortle's fan?????????????????????????

  • autistic Hockeyguy 2 months ago

Why would 2 years of college prepare him better than spending 24 hours a day on football ?

  • OLGbryan 6 months ago

Giants holding Eli just to draft this guy

  • Rendell Omoniyi 1 months ago

@Mark Jacob i know thus message is wayy too late lol. Redskins got Haskins. Giants got Daniel Jones. I hope you're happy with that 6th pick?

He’s not ready! 2 years minimum, all these college greats that was stature ready but mentally and physically not. It’s a mans game not a kid who just won a national title game

  • Robert Mazzarachio 4 months ago

KalihiSaint Lawrence is more ready than any QBs in this draft he torched Alabama NO OTHER QB did that this year

  • Eric Matterson 4 months ago

    @Leo Criss 😁😁😁

Greenberg is obsessed with wanting damn near high school kids to go pro immediately like wtf...He really thinks every player is built to just to play pro at 17/18 years old

  • Lil Wooo 3 months ago

Uncle Tom “if Lawrence can beat Alabama he can play in the league” Is that really what you just said 😂😂 are you one of those guys under the impression that Alabama could beat a pro team? Also yeah it’s fucked up that they can’t make their own decision but most of these guys would ruin there careers joining the NFL...your so stuck on “it’s there decision” but it’s not the right decision...and these guys are 18 year olds they shouldn’t be making career decisions like that anyway...idc how good a Highscho...

  • Lil Wooo 3 months ago

Clutxh Time “all it takes is one injury” if you know that then why are you co-signing 18 years old playing with grown ass men that will knock there heads off? This ain’t the NBA 18 year old don’t belong in the NFL...imo 1 year of college should be mandatory and if you think your ready after that do what you want but it’s stupid to even suggest high schoolers should be allowed in the NFL...LOL just imagine some 18yo 160 WR joining the NFL...or a DE who has the physical tools but isn’t close to being ski...
