  • This starving scared dog was rescued by Howl Of A Dog and this video presents her journey to recovery and amazing transformation. We pulled Mina from a public pound, she was in a terrible condition so we drove straight to the veterinary clinic as she needed emergency care. She was severely emaciated, suffering from mange and intestinal infection, anemic, dehydrated, barely walking and so emotionally traumatized that she was terrified of everything. Unfortunately, many public pounds in Romania fail to offer dogs even the most basic medical care and health issues that could have been easily prevented aggravate to such an extent that recovery becomes a difficult challenge. It took us several weeks to help Mina heal and overcome her trauma. But at the end of her recovery, seeing her wag her tail, smile and play happily with other dogs was the best reward. We managed to find Mina a loving family in Germany and she’s now the happiest dog, more updates on her new life and adventures are available on our website: https://www.howlofadog.org/mina-adopted-in-germany/
