  • INGREDIENTS
    1and 1/2 cups of whole red lentils / sabut masoor dal
    2 medium size tomatoes, cut in quarters
    1 tbsp of ginger&garlic paste
    1 tsp of ground coriander
    3/4 tsp of ground turmeric
    1 tsp of ground red chilli
    salt to taste
    some chopped coriander leaves
    3 green chillies



    FOR TEMPERING
    3 tbsp of cooking oil
    1 tsp of cumin seeds
    2 pinches of asafoetida
    some chopped spring onions
