  • Is Freddie Kitchens a bad fit for the Browns?

  • Inferno 6 months ago

@Frank Heck The change on that team was on the offensive side of the ball and Kitchens had full offensive responsibility. Kitchens >> Williams.

Greg Williams is 60. Kitchens is 44. Kitchens has established success with Mayfield, and if they would have picked GW to be the HC, Kitchens would have went elsewhere, as he has become a hot commodity in terms of an Offensive Coordinator, and a Head Coach. Therefore shattering any offensive continuity with their young Quarterback. Do you REALLY believe that it would have been healthy for them to bring in a new OC, with a NEW offense, for Baker Mayfield to learn in training camp and start the season wit...

It’s just bad game theory. Nominating HC cause he can go be coordinator somewhere.

    Well said.

Really, Skip? Browns defense was feared?Which team were you watching? Besides turnovers, this was the browns defensive rankings:Yards per game: 30thPass defense: 25thRun defense: 28thYes Gregg was HC when we turned our season around but his defense wasnt good. So forgive me if I’d prefer the guy who turned the offense into the 2nd most efficient unit in the league.

  • Spartan 5 months ago

Torey Sinclair Yeah they were number one in missed tackles too. I really don't understand how you could be 2nd in takeaways, but 29th in total defense. That just proved that Gregg wasn't really that amazing.

  • iitypicaltylerr 6 months ago

They were feared. Skip and Shannon agree with that. They had a couple bad games that hurt their overall numbers. They were a really good defense.

The browns defense was not very good. Alot of turnovers but points allowed and yards allowed were one of the worst. If you have good chemistry with your rookie QB you have to keep it. Excited to see what happens in the future for this browns team. Hopefully they can get into the playoffs next season. Go dawgs!

  • Paa Hawkins 6 months ago

Greg's defense was 30th in the league. Why do they bother paying these fools if they don't do proper research?
