  • Singapore will continue to work with business partners and like-minded countries to ensure supplies of food and essentials are not disrupted amid the COVID-19 pandemic. President Halimah Yacob said Singapore imports more than 90% of its food products from 170 countries, and therefore, ensuring supply chain resilience is an issue of national security. She added that automation has helped in boosting productivity.
