The Tuft and Needle and Leesa are both very popular online mattresses. If you have narrowed down your decision to these bed-in-a-box mattresses, you might need some help deciding.

First off, these are both all-foam mattresses. They are also medium-firm mattresses, and they both have a balanced foam feel.

While there are some similarities, they are quite different. Because of these differences, they should be a good match for different types of sleepers.

The Tuft & Needle should be the better mattress for lightweight people. The mattress does not have a very thick comfort layer, but this should not make too much of a difference to lighter sleepers. You should get enough comfort and support with the Tuft & Needle.

The Tuft & Needle is also the more affordable mattress. These mattresses are quite similar so if you think the Tuft & Needle is a good match, you could save some money on your purchase.

This is a simpler, more streamlined mattress. If you need a mattress for teenagers or a mattress for your guest room, this could be a good fit.

However, if you want a mattress for larger people, the Leesa should be a better choice. It has a thicker comfort layer so heavy people shouldn’t drop through the mattress.

Also, the Leesa is the better mattress for side sleeping. Again, with the thicker comfort layer, it should offer better pressure relief for side sleepers.

Finally, if you want a mattress for couples, take a look at the Leesa. It handles motion transfer better than the Leesa so you and your partner shouldn’t disturb one another when you move around at night.

So, which mattress sounds right for you?
