  • Today I am making a fun French Toast breakfast for my kids. Shout out to my brother in law Jake, for the recipe idea! French toast roll ups are perfect for breakfast, lunch or a snack. I also include a way to utilize extra left over bread crust for baked French toast fries.

    *NOTE The amount of egg and milk dredge is enough to use for the roll ups
    and French toast fries.

    12 to 15 slices of bread (crust removed and save for the French toast fries)
    4 oz softened cream cheese
    1 Tbsp sugar
    1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup whole milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    pinch of nutmeg (grated or ground)
    pinch of ground cinnamon
    8 oz pint of fresh strawberries
    1/2 tsp sugar (for strawberries)
    2 Tbsp butter (for griddle)
    3 Tbsp cooking oil (for griddle)
