In this video Kevin and I are snowboarding up at Thredbo Resort in Australia and take a moment to talk about effective edge. Effective edge is a spec that you will see for every snowboard, and is the part of the board that gives you most of your control, particularly on groomed or hard pack snow. I hope this video helps to give you a better idea of what this number on the spec sheet means, how it effects the ride of the board, and how it can vary from board to board. Let me know any questions or anything you have to add in the comments below, thanks for watching.
