  • Outside linebacker Robert Quinn signed a five-year, $70 million contract with the Chicago Bears on April 1, and now, as the pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the world, he’s trying to get to know his new teammates and adjust to a new defensive scheme while social distancing. As difficult as that is, the 30-year-old has endured much worse. On this episode of “Getcha Popcorn Ready,” Robert joins T.O. and Hatch to talk about being told he had a week to live when he was 17, his experiences with everyday racism growing up in South Carolina, his reaction to anti-racism protests, the odd process of joining a new team during the pandemic, how he’ll fit with Khalil Mack and other teammates on what could be a phenomenal defense, Covid-19 precautions, why he thinks the Rooney Rule is “a slap in the face,” and more. Plus, Robert names his top 5 current NFL pass rushers, with at least one name that will definitely surprise you! Check it out! Yee!
