Omg, it took a year to upload and see the footage for this video.

Dude they should have these hotels everywhereeeee. Like they should have pods in the airport, man. They make a lot of sense.

  • They’d be called air pods

I wish they had capsule hotels in the US-I mean, a private place to sleep, a tv, wifi, showers, all for $35, that would enable me to take trips way more often!

Yea like I go to hotels often (I go to the doctor a bit far from home) and I don't really use most of the stuff if I have my laptop I don't use the tv and I never unpack all my stugh just sits on my floor still in the bag so I'd be down for cheep pods

I need that 20 minute video of Safiya in front of the vending machine. I don't know why....I just do

  • The Alien Picture 5 days ago

Totally agree. I’m actually interested in seeing the vending machine vlog and her taste description more than other things. Girl! Don’t listen to him and do your thing!

  • Araceli 5 days ago

Japans vendine machines NEED a 20 minute video, LOL. I can assure you.

I feel safer to know the genders are segregated as a girl. Too many scary stories at shared hostels.

it can and happens a lot in regular hotels as well.

The capsules themselves induce claustrophobia for me...

You know darned well we'd all watch 20 minutes of Safiya talking about peach water

You right, like release the footage

They should use this idea (or a similar one) in hospitals for families who need to stay with someone.

  • Erebma Dammahom 1 months ago

That's actually not a bad idea. I had to do that with my mom when she was in the hospital several years ago. Sleeping on the hard and tiny couch next to her wasn't bad, but I definitely couldn't get any sleep on those nights lol.

Did anyone else get uncomfortable about the idea of soaking their feet in the same water as other people. 😳

  • Saladness 2 days ago

Since it can sustain its cleanliness and warmth on a chilly day outside I’d guess they have means of cleaning it. Maybe it’s just running, like new water slowly pours in while also slowly draining away

Guys there’s nothing to worry about that it’s right on the street and with strangers. I’ve been to Tokyo, and let me tell you it’s probably the cleanest, friendliest, and safest place I’ve ever been.

@Leighann Ott sounds oddly fetishy and sensual 😂

Sounds like something you could get on a cheesy tourist T-shirt. 😂

All these people talking about claustrophobia and anxiety. I’m out here would sleep every night in these capsules instead of my big bed. I feel really comfy in small and cozy spaces

  • Plumeria 13 hours ago

I would be so much more comfortable in that than a large room

  • spill the tea 20 hours ago

Saladness yeah same! i personally feel safer and cozier plus i LOVE small personal spaces!
