The Tuft & Needle Mint and Purple are two very popular bed-in-a-box mattresses. They are sold for about the same price, so it might be hard to make a quick decision.

Well, let’s look at who the Mint mattress is a good fit for. First off, if you need a mattress for side sleeping, and you aren’t a heavier person, the Mint should be a great choice. It has a thick comfort layer and should relieve most pressure on your shoulders and hips.

Also, you could like sinking into your mattress. Lying on the Mint, you will feel more like you are sleeping “in” the mattress rather than “on” it. You will sleep more “on the Purple.

Do you simply like a softer mattress? Take a look at the Mint. For me, it was the softer mattress with more give. If you are looking for more comfort and less support, the Mint should work for you.

If you want a mattress for back sleeping, the Purple should be the better choice. It should feel firmer for you light- and medium-weight sleepers out there. Your hips will sink in just a little bit, but the gel grid will support your lumbar area as well as the rest of your body.

The Purple should also be a good mattress for stomach sleepers. The gel grid will not collapse too much under your hips when you are on your stomach. You should feel even support across your entire body.

Also, you could just need a more supportive mattress. Whether you are lighter or heavier, you should agree that the Purple is more supportive. If you are a larger person or simply in need of more support, the Purple is the way to go.

So, based on this information, which mattress sounds like the one for you?
