TRADITIONAL STREET FOOD & Tofu Hotpot in Kyoto Japan

  • Published on:  12/13/2018
  • Kyoto is one of my favorite cities in Japan with its beautiful traditional culture and of course the delicious foods. And for my first full day in Kyoto what's not a better thing to do than to go on a traditional street food tour in the area of Arashiyama. I also stopped by this tofu hotpot place, and it was an amazingly delicious experience. I loved the traditional Japanese style garden view as well which made it so relaxing while dining.

I've told you this before, but I LOVE your videos! This is gonna be my year. My niece lives and works in Busan South Korea. She is coming home for a visit in a week or so but she has already signed up for another year. My Sis and I are definitely going to see her this year!! I am looking forward to the food SO MUCH!! My job is hideously stressful so I need a vacation and I already wanted to go to South Korea but your videos have made me want it even more! Can't wait to try all that yummy food. I look forward to your videos so much. Love you!!

I went to this EXACT place in Kyoto. It was a random and accidental walk-in because we got so tired from walking. It was DEFINITELY an eye-opener to the level of tofu experience you'll get. Yeah... tofu pudding. Nowhere else like it.

I don’t even like tofu but I want to go there! I imagine the tofu in Japan being extremely different from the fast food chains in Aus. It looks amazing!
