  • This video shows how to make a one dish meal, namely vegetable Bhath. This is a type of variety rice with vegetables and spices. It is a great one dish meal and can be served with raita or fryums if desired.
    Ingredients
    Rice 1 cup
    Chopped carrots 1/2 cup
    Chopped beans 1/2 cup
    Green chillies 4
    Gren peas 1/2 cup
    Curry leaves a few
    Salt
    Hing/asafoeida a pinch
    Cumin seeds /jeera 1 tsp
    Coriander seeds 1 tsp (dhania)
    White til/sesame seeds 1 tbsp
    Cloves 6-7
    Cinnamon a small piece
    Dry red chilli 1
    Dry coconut powder 1/2 cup
    Ghee 2 Tbsp
    Groundnuts 1 Tbsp
    Mustard seeds 1tsp
    Cinnamon a piece
    Cloves 4-5
    Cardamom 2
    Water 2 cups
    Coriander leaves a few
    Serve with Boondi Raita
    Beaten curd
    Salted Boondi
