  • Couch Potato General Manager compares a couple of "last line defenders" in safeties Nasir Adderley of Delaware and Johnathan Abram of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Adderley, as CPGM Headley describes him, is your modern day safety with the open field tackling skills and physicality of a throwback strong safety while also possessing the ability to cover the slot (Adderley is a former cornerback) and excel as a single high safety providing a formidable last line of defense in today's pass happy NFL. CPGM Drew is banging the drum for Johnathan Abram citing his blinding play speed, relentlessness and superior spatial awareness. Abram brings the "leader" of the defense mentality to the table setting the tone for the other 10 defenders. The 2019 NFL Draft offers a bevy of options at the safety position as there is considerable depth among the safeties in this draft class. However, Adderely and Abram are arguably the best of the bunch hence this Couch Potato GM draft debate. Who do you prefer in this NFL Draft Matchup?
