    1 1/2 to 2 cups of water, depending on how thick or thin you want the porridge to be
    2 tbsp grated coconut
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1/4 tsp black pepper powder

    sliced coconut pieces: 1 tbsp
    1 medium shallot
    Green chilies: 1
    whole red chilies: 2
    curry leaves
    1 tsp coconut oil
    1/2 tsp jeera
    1/4 tsp methi seeds
