Initially, his career began as a high school English substitute teacher until his Broadway destiny came into play.

    Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway debut began when he composed his first musical ‘In The Heights’ — which scored Miranda four Tony Awards, including Best Musical and then a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album.

    A few years later, Lin-Manuel Miranda was inspired to bring the story of Alexander Hamilton to life using hip-hop. He performed an early version of the ‘Hamilton’ opening number at the White House in 2009. Once ‘Hamilton’ premiered on Broadway, the theatrical world was never the same.

    Lin-Manuel Miranda’s creativity doesn’t end at Broadway. He frequently collaborates with other well-liked stars like Jimmy Fallon and James Corden.

    Lin-Manuel Miranda is also heavily invested into activism. When Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in 2017, he brought ‘Hamilton’ to Puerto Rico to raise funds for the arts scene and local economy in his parents’ home country.
