  • 1. WhatsApp bug has affected many users on Android and iPhone both, according to numerous reports on Twitter, allowing blocked parties to send users private messages, apart from viewing their profile and Status as well. WhatsApp has not yet acknowledged the fault, and no fix has been promised either.
Users on WhatsApp iOS version 2.18.52 and Android beta version 2.18.145 are reporting being able to see the new Add Participant button after they make a video call.

    2. Mi 8 leaks are out and a leaked hands-on video has been doing the rounds recently...The 9-seconds hands-on video comes via Slashleaks and it quickly manages to give us a look at the Mi 8 from various angles. On the front, you will notice the much talked about notch on top which is expected to be wider than the one on the iPhone X. The reason behind this is that Xiaomi is housing a number of sensors and cameras inside the notch to bring features like 3D facial scanning, similar to Apple's Face ID. The alleged Mi 8 unit in the video has a translucent back which reveals the battery pack as well as what is unmistakably a Snapdragon chipset, which is most likely the Snapdragon 845.

    3. Earlier this month, Google shocked the world by unveiling Google Duplex-- an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can make humanised conversations with individuals. The demo that Google CEO Sundar Pichai showed off during Google I/O 2018 was particularly intriguing because the AI could think on its feet and handle uncertainty in the human response. But as it turns out, Google Duplex is not the only hotshot AI in town. In fact, Microsoft has already been testing a similar technology in China.

Microsoft's AI-based social chat bot XiaoIce was unveiled by the company's CEO Satya Nadella at an AI event in London on Tuesday. Microsoft has been testing XiaoIce in China for quite some time now and Nadella revealed that the AI chat bot has 500 million friends and more 16 channels for Chinese users to interact with it using. The chat bot uses popular social messaging apps such as WeChat to interact with the users.
