- The best cancer care is personalized cancer care. Cat Circo, 32, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Her cancer was growing rapidly and she decided to enroll in a clinical trial offered at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health. The trial was investigating the optimal sequence of immunotherapy and chemoradiation.
Cat describes her experience of going through a clinical trial and how the teams at UC San Diego Health provided extra layers of personalized care.
As an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Moores Cancer Center has the ability to translate scientific findings straight from the laboratory to the patient with the ability to tailor and personalize treatment. In many cases, innovative treatments and particular clinical trials are only available at UC San Diego Health.
