How to fix internet constantly turning on and off (Network Cable Unplugged)

  • Set it to 100mbps if you pay for 10Mbps+ internet. When I made this I had horrible Frontier internet @ 3Mbps. Also try switching between the settings.

This is a fix for if your internet is turning on and off every second. I'm not sure how to describe it so here:

The fix is you go to your network adapater, properties, advanced, speed & duplex, set to 10mbps full/100mbps/etc.

    Speed and Duplex settings
    Network cable unplugged
    Internet turns on and off
    Not detecting Ethernet
    Ethernet light flashing
Ethernet light turning on and off
    LogMeIn Hamachi

Posting an update to say if you want to fix this problem for good just reinstall your Network Adapter Drivers. You can find your computer's network driver manufacturer/type by opening your Device Manager and looking under "Network Adapters". Go to the manufacturer's website and find the latest driver version. If you can't find it there you may have to do some research to get the right version elsewhere. Be sure to follow any instructions closely and DO A BACKUP. The Speed & Duplex setting should only be a temporary fix, especially if you want to get the best network performance.

I honestly cannot believe this video is still getting a lot of views with people having the same problem. You'd think it would get fixed by now.
